    I don’t fully understand what is PIN HEADER for ? Can anyone give me any explanation pls?

    I want to connect an incremental encoder that is activated with 5v but the inputs of controllino are 12v and 24v, can I just connect (5v and GND) in the PINHEADER and read it in interrupt zero located on PINHEADER .

    pinheader is exactly for your application 😊.

    Yes, you can take power from pinheader and also connect the interrupt on the pinheader. Please only take care about the limitation on the pinheader (maximum output current and serial protection resistances which shall be no problem in your application).
