The examples seem to show a hard-coded MAC address.

Is there a way to load a correct/unique MAC address?

The Industruino guys recently solved this issue by using a unique identifier from the RTC:

    Hello,

We have a pool of MAC addresses. you can write me an email (inof@controllino.biz) and I will send you the number of MAC addresses you need.

You only have to insert the different MAC addresses into your program.

    regards

    Marco

Thank you, I will do so.

I will however store the MAC in the EEPROM so that I don’t need to modify the program for each device.

Do you test each Controllino before it leaves the factory?

Would it be an option to store a unique MAC in the EEPROM when testing the RS485 port?

Yes, all the CONTROLLINOs are tested before shipment. We are working right now on a more automated way to do it and it would be an option to program it directly into the EEPROM.
