may I ask you what is the CONTROLLINO doing in your project, please? Is it sourcing so much current … I mean is there an obvious reason why it is getting hot?

One of the heat sources in the CONTROLLINO is the Ethernet chipset Wiznet. Is there an intensive LAN communication?
