Hi there, can you try it again? Maybe there was just some temporary outage or something. I just clicked on the link and the download itself works.

If you could add a few screenshots too, that would be great, just to see where you get the error.

Thank you and all the best

Good grief, this is really awesome, @mrwolfj ! Great job, I think I will try it out at home too and see if I can give some feedback.

    Hi Friedl,

thank you again for your feedback. Actually, this is a feature by design. Imagine it like Linkedin or Instagram or something… when you are not logged in, you basically see posts from all over the platform, but when you are logged in, you only see the one’s of your friends and connections.

We already had internal discussions on if we want to do it like that, and it’s still not 100% finalized. We even think that for now, every user should see everything, even if logged in. This gives the platform a little bit more “life” and dynamics if it’s just a smaller circle of people for now.

EDIT: Another thing I want to mention here is that we definitely want to include user feedback into the decision of how we will eventually do it in the end. But as our community is quite small at the moment, there’s just not enough user voices that help us understand how we should do it best. This means, for now we will discuss this internally with our team, and let you know what our decision was on that one as soon as we have discussed it.

    Hi again, Friedl.
Thank you for your feedback, we will take a look into how we can improve it. We thought about image upload functionality in the post editor itself but thought that external linking should be sufficient. We will reconsider that and let you know if there are any updates.

    All the best,

    Ivan

    Hi Friedl, grüße aus Innsbruck!

We have edited the settings now, thank you for your feedback! We tried hard to fix every point before our forum launched, but as you see, sometimes there’s still something left here and there in the user interface that needs to be adapted. So thank you again! If you find something else, please let us know.

    Hi again, Lro007.

I’m moving your activity feed reply here into the forum:

    Hi Ivan

thank you so much for for reply…
I just review (again) the information for the controllino Maxi Power Automation, and i could not find that specific piece of information regarding the no internal switch for 12 V… (maybe i’m not looking at the right place); since i really need to look for a solution can you tell me if there is a Workaround for this situation?

    Thanks”

Comment replies in the activity feed are actually not there to reply to a forum topic. As it’s indeed a bit confusing, we have now removed the comment function for activity feed posts that are about discussions.

Anyway, I can definitely ask the team if there is a workaround, as I’m not 100% aware of all technical details. Can you please describe me what your use case is and what you are trying to achieve / how the end result should look like? Thanks a lot!

Hi Lro007, thank you for joining our forum!

The Maxi Power Automation is only 24V-compatible, it has no internal switch for 12V. Please check your Controllino labels, there you will see the 24V and GND label.

That’s the issue why you also get 402 of your reading.

Hi Lucko, pozdrav and thank you for joining the forum!

Regarding your first question: The Analog Inputs and Outputs have 10 bit read and 8 bit write resolution, you are right. We are currently working on updating our datasheets to also include such information.

Regarding your second question: you can just use analogWrite() function with a value of 0 – 255, we don’t clearly understand why you want to set the resolution as it is fixed by the controller. If you could elaborate more on that part, we’re glad to help.

Hi @sidneychu and @l-fakkert – I’d like to add that we are currently developing our very own IoT Cloud. You can find more information on our website http://www.controllino.cloud. We are currently working extremely hard to finish final tasks before launch and we expect to be done within the next couple of weeks.

On the website, you will also find tutorials and sample code about how to connect your Controllino to the cloud over the Ethernet port.

    Hi Prisma,

in addition to the answer before (thanks ABeTEC!): if you get no errors in the Arduino IDE after uploading and it says “Done uploading.” in the green field on the bottom of the IDE…

…then you can be almost sure that everything went fine. Just try it out with some simple code, like the LED blink example. Don’t forget to use Pin #4 instead of #13 like seen in the screenshot or in the Blink example from Arduino IDE.

Also, check out the Tutorials section on the CONTROLLINO homepage for some examples and how-tos to get started quickly.

    Hi Frank,

I think @Jarda means the datasheet of the used relays itself.

    Hi again, @Lro007

I’m sorry to tell you that there is really no practical way to achieve what you need, without purchasing some addon modules or similar things…

Hi again and thank you for your explaination,

hmm, I’m afraid there is no practical way to increase the resolution by scaling down to 12V as the Automation series is working with 24V-only, but I will still ask the team tomorrow when I’m in office.

Please wait for a reply until tomorrow, maybe there are other options that some of our team members can think of.

All the best in the meanwhile!
