[This Forum] How to add Images?

Hi Controllino Team!

In the thread https://community.controllino.com/forums/discussion/maxi-automation-ovl-led-green-with-usb-orange-red-with-24v-supply/ I first added camera images using Imgur because I could not add images via the thread editor.

Imgur albums are somehow undestood and display really nicely – BUT do not try to edit a reply in the same thread, then the Imgur element is somehow duplicated.

Then I discovered the forum feature photo albums, BUT sadly such an album does not nicely integrate – see the thread above, where I tried to add the pictures in a reply.

So how to add images to a thread? Can you improve the thread editor dialog, or …..?

Please advice!

Thank you for your feedback, we will take a look into how we can improve it. We thought about image upload functionality in the post editor itself but thought that external linking should be sufficient. We will reconsider that and let you know if there are any updates.

Then may I suggest to at least support image links to your own forum website to show the image inline – like you do for eg. Imgur.

Images hosted on external platforms will break when time goes by.
