Push-Pull Rotary Encoder interface with Controllino

Hello,
I have bought a Controllino MAXI pure and it’s really neat.
I managed to interface an encoder following this guide https://community.controllino.com/forums/discussion/encoder-on-mini/
It relates to an open drain type (NPN) of Rotary Encoder that I had and I wired the A & B wires to IN0 & IN1 (and also tried D0 & D1) with 10K pull-ups to 12V. Along with the Arduino Encoder library it works great.

Now I’ve come across a push-pull type Rotary encoder and I can’t perform the same trick with the pullups.
Could someone please advise how to connect this type of encoder to the Controllino?
