Maximum number of digital inputs

Hi All,

I would like to use Controllino Mega in my project. I need to check status (High or Low) of at least 48 lines. Is it possible to use outputs (D0…D23) as digital inputs also? What is the maximum number of possible digital inputs without using any auxiliary circuits (like dmx..) in Controllino Mega? (Somewhere I read that max 61 inputs available, but either the user manual did not help me how..).
