Max Voltage of Controllino Max Automation Input 0-10V
-
Hi,
In Controllino Max Automation it’s possible to use analog 0-10V inputs (ports AI12 and AI13).
What’s the maximum voltage that can be applied in the port without causing damage to the module?
I’m referring to an abnormal situation.

Hello, again. ๐
Is there someone who can help with this question?
I’m wondering about what happens if we apply 12 Vdc or even 24 Vdc by mistake.
Will it damage the module in any way?
Thanks

Hi. I donยดt know the maximum specification for the analog input but you can put a Zener Diode between of 10v between input and gnd to protect it if you suspect you could put 12-24v.

Yes, thank you for the idea. ๐
I want to know this because we sell the modules to other companies and it’s possible to happen this kind of mistake (and it’s difficult to prove that they did it).
Since it’s possible to use 12Vdc or 24Vdc in the other digital/analog, it would be helpful if these 0-10V inputs could deal with this voltage level.
If anyone knows what’s “under the hood”, please let me know. ๐
