    Hello,

    what do you mean by “IP Master”, please? That it will run DHCP server? Or web server? Please note that CONTROLLINO is using WIZnet5100 chip for the Ethernet interface and there are some limitations – e.g. max 4 open sockets etc.

    HI Lukas,

    I am looking to implement an EtherNet Industrial Protocol network with the Controllino as the Client and a small number of prototype industrial tools as the servers.

    The implimentation could be achieved using an RS483 to EtherNet/IP converter, however, it would be more efficient to be able to use the Controllino as the server directly as a TCP/IP device.

    Hi Barty,

    I see! The name of that protocol is little bit confusing 🙄

    I am afraid that is not so easy to run that stuff directly on CONTROLLINO. Because the only library I have found is based on POSIX OS and BSD sockets.
