Controllino Myplc?
-
Hello,
I am curious about the status of controllino Myplc.
I do like the Controllino mega alot, and we also use it in one of our machines we produce.
But for a future project i need a controller with integrated CAN-bus.
a My-plc would be a possible solution, but its in beta mode for as long as i can remember.
I even tried making an order to find out what would happen, but i got nothing.
So what is the status of My-plc, is it something we can rely on for the next 10 years? is it available soon?
Greetings,
Jelle -
Hi
I am also curious about this and I also like Controllino (Maxi Automation) a lot. The modular nature of myPLC looks ideal for my purposes. But as @jstap mentioned nearly 2 years ago, this has been in beta for a long time.
Has this project been discontinued in favour of NEO?
For me, myPLC looks like a more promising concept than NEO. For example, The DIN rail mounting makes it very suitable for small industrial and domestic installations
Will NEO give this kind of flexibility and mounting options? Will it cater for similar use cases?
Thanks
Steve

Hi Jelle,
Hi Steve,
as far as I know from the CONTROLLINO management the myPLC serial production was not launched because of the world wide chip shortage.
That is the reason why the NEO is based on the RP2040 MCU which is available in high amounts and with reasonable price.
I hope it will be released soon.
Thanks,
Lukas
