Hi, i have two simple questions about the proper usage of the digital input of Controllino mini powered with a 12V DC power supply.

    1) If i want to use the digital input of A0 on the screw terminal i just connect the 12V of the power supply straight to the A0 on the screw terminal in series with a switch but without a protection or a pulldown resistor.

    2) If i want to use the digital input of A0 on the pin header i just connect the 5V of the pinheader straight to the A0 pin on the pinheader in series with a switch but without a protection or a pulldown resistor.

Are those two simple connections considered proper usage of the controllino?

    Hello,

    Yes, this is correct!

The internal voltage divider is already puling the input down. So, there is no need for an external pulldown.

    regards

    Marco
