    Hello everybody,

Today I make a project on a controllino maxi automation. I have an issue because I would like to use a humidity/temperature digital sensor DHT22 from adafruit.

My problem is that this sensor is digital and operate in 0-5 V and the digital input in the controllino is in 0-24V.

I was thinking that if I amplify the signal with an oeprationnal amplifier it should be working, but maybe some of you would have better Ideas?

    Thanks you very mutch !

    Hello mat,

You have to connect 5V things to the pinheader!

We have a tutorial on how to connect a DS18x20 sensor to our CONTROLLINO on our homepage.

The sensors are not very different.

    regards

    Marco

I have the same problem but with the pinHeader 5v it ok and work fine.

When i put the 24V in, the sensor goes to-127deg ?

I do not understand why ?

    Some other ideas ?

Thank you very much for the help.

    Best Regards.

    Hello,

can you share your setup (how all the wires are connected) with us, please?

Do I understand it right that everything works fine when the CONTROLLINO is supplied from USB only and goes wrong when you connect external 24V to the CONTROLLINO?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    Ok i found the problem…

The cable must be isolated because there is an interference.

    Maybe with a shielded cable.

The controllino is in an electrical cabinet installed an the sensor cable go with an cable bundle.

So, after test, there no problem anymore. maybe it is for that.

If not i will come back.

Thank you all for assistance and quick response ! :)

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards.
